12 Class Representatives Deliver Passionate Speeches — Junior High School Speech Contest
On Saturday, September 27, the Junior High School Speech Contest was held in the Main Hall.
Selected through their Japanese language classes, 12 class representatives from the 2nd and 3rd years took the stage to express their thoughts and ideas. They delivered powerful speeches with rich expression. Speaking in front of the entire student body was a major challenge and required great courage. However, the students who participated overcame their nerves and confidently conveyed their opinions with clear voices and a strong presence. Great job to all of you!
As a result of their passionate presentations, the following two students received awards:
- Best Speaker Award: Kokoru Seki — “Everyday Miracles”
- Excellence Award: Michiru Noma — “The Merits of Being Half-Hearted”
Ms. Seki will represent our school at the “Uji City Junior High School Speech Contest” to be held on Saturday, November 1. We look forward to her continued success as our school’s representative.
