In October 2025, two project teams from the "Core Inquiry III" class of the IG course 3rd-year students participated in the "Ritsumeikan TanQ Park," a commemorative event for the 155th anniversary of Ritsumeikan's founding and the 125th anniversary of the school’s establishment.

Sharing Inquiry Results with Society

On the day of the event, many visitors came to the venue, and students interacted with them through hands-on activities while introducing their projects at each booth. They received various comments and questions from visitors, allowing them to reflect on their own hypotheses and gain deeper insights.

Additionally, this event provided an opportunity to experience the importance of sharing the results of their inquiry activities—centered on solving social issues—with society. Participating students commented, “We were able to see how our ideas were received by society,” and “Through conversations with others, we gained new perspectives.”

Deepening Learning from Diverse Perspectives

Through this event, students learned the importance of not keeping “inquiry” within the classroom but practicing and verifying it in real-life society. Being able to share their ideas for improving the future society during such a milestone year for the Ritsumeikan Academy was a valuable step forward in their growth.
