On Saturday, October 18, students in the IB Course carried out a CAS cycling tour to Hirakata, Osaka. Five IB Course students participated, accompanied by two teachers. 

The tour departed from Kintetsu Okubo Station and followed the cycling path along the Yodo River. Along the way, they stopped at Sakura Deaikan, a popular spot among cycling enthusiasts, before heading to the final destination, Hirakata Station. The weather was favorable with a refreshing autumn breeze; however, as they approached Hirakata, a somewhat heavy rain began to fall, making this active experience in nature even more memorable. Because the route was almost entirely on dedicated cycling paths, everyone was able to ride with peace of mind, without worrying about cars. 

While enjoying the physical challenge, the students deepened their friendships and spent a valuable day refreshing both mind and body in the great outdoors.
