On Sunday, November 2, the Ritsumeikan Uji High School Girls’ Volleyball Team participated in the “Reiwa 7 All Japan High School Volleyball Championship Kyoto Southern Preliminary League Match (Prefectural Qualifying Round Selection Match)”.

Having advanced to this important match after finishing second in the league the previous week, the team faced Kyoto Prefectural Rakuhoku High School. The players chased every ball with persistence and encouraged one another throughout the game, showing true teamwork. However, despite their efforts, they were unable to overcome their opponent’s powerful offense and defense, narrowly missing victory.

Although the match was tough, both the players on the court and those on the bench fought with unwavering spirit until the end. Their attitude reflected the hard work and unity that the team has built over time.

This match marked the final game for the third-year students. To all the seniors who have supported the team and devoted themselves to practice every day, thank you for your dedication. The new team will now begin its journey toward the next goal. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success, built upon the experience gained so far.
