“Kids Festa 2025 in Uji Botanical Garden” was held, where the Ritsumeikan Uji High School Cheerleading Club gave a lively performance in front of a crowd of families. It was the perfect day for an event, with blue skies overhead. As the performance began, the audience naturally started clapping along, and the entire venue was wrapped in a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

As in previous years, the cheerleading club also hosted a cheer experience corner for children after their performance. With pom-poms in hand, children struck poses and joined in simple dance routines, participating with big smiles on their faces. Excited voices such as “That was fun!” and “I want to do more!” echoed throughout the area, making the experience booth a huge success.

Moreover, participating in this event provided high school students with a valuable opportunity to interact directly with members of the local community and engage with people of different age groups. It was not only about bringing joy to children, but also about nurturing students’ ability to communicate and empathize, reinforcing their awareness as contributing members of the community.
