On Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Kansai Final of the 56th National High School American Football Championship, the Ritsumeikan Uji High School Panthers faced off against the Otemon Gakuin High School Lumberjacks. With spirited support from the cheerleaders and brass band, and under the watchful eyes of classmates and parents, the Panthers secured a 14-0 victory.

As a result of this win, Ritsumeikan Uji High School has qualified for the Christmas Bowl for the seventh time and the first time in two years. The next match—the national championship Christmas Bowl—will take place at Yokohama Stadium on Sunday, December 21 at 13:00, where they will face the top team from the Kanto region.
