Ritsumeikan University College of Business Administration Collaboration – High School Students Join “Kyoto Business Challenge Contest” Led by Moriya Seminar
The Moriya Seminar of the College of Business Administration at Ritsumeikan University is hosting a practical project titled the “Kyoto Business Challenge Contest for High School and University Collaboration” in partnership with Kyoto City and Kyoto Shinkin Bank. Four students from Ritsumeikan Uji High School are participating, working alongside 24 university students to tackle real-world business challenges faced by local companies.
In this contest, students conducted interviews and analyzed business issues presented by six organizations from five companies introduced by Kyoto City Hall and Kyoto Shinkin Bank. On Saturday, December 6, they presented their interim findings, receiving professional feedback from representatives of Kyoto City, the participating companies, and Kyoto Shinkin Bank. By spending time with university students, the high school participants gained valuable insights and were stimulated by the constructive critiques offered during the midterm presentation.
The final presentation will take place on Saturday, January 10, at Kyoto Shinkin Bank QUESTION. Participants will present their proposals, connecting each organization’s challenges with broader societal issues in the local community. We look forward to seeing the innovative ideas proposed by both high school and university students.
