1st-Year High School Students Achieve Remarkable Success in “Career Koshien” — 8 Teams Pass Document Screening
Our 1st-year high school students have achieved outstanding results in the nationwide business contest for high schoolers, “Career Koshien.”
8 Teams Selected out of 3,151 Nationwide
This year, there were 3,151 entries from across Japan, and 8 teams from our school successfully passed the document screening stage. This number was the second highest in the country, demonstrating the strength of our inquiry-based learning and the initiative shown by our students.
What is “Career Koshien”?
“Career Koshien” is a nationwide competition in which high school students present original proposals and ideas to solve real-world issues faced by companies and society. It is not just about acquiring knowledge, but about demonstrating the ability to think creatively and make practical proposals.
Skills Developed through Inquiry-Based Class “CORE”
The students utilized the creativity and analytical skills they developed in their 1st-year inquiry-based class, “CORE,” to seriously engage with societal issues and formulate their proposals. Their ability to pose critical questions, think from multiple perspectives, and collaborate with others were key factors in their success.
Moving On to the Next Stage
The eight teams will now move on to the presentation round, where they will aim even higher. We look forward to seeing how they perform in the upcoming stages.
This achievement is a testament to how our school’s educational philosophy brings out students’ potential and nurtures their ability to shape the future. We will continue to support their ongoing efforts and challenges.
