On December 20, 2025, the Ritsumeikan Uji Junior High School Baseball Club conducted its annual Christmas clean-up activity for the fifth consecutive year. As in previous years, the event was carried out in collaboration with Nozomi Acupuncture and Osteopathic Clinic, which supports our junior and senior high school events and classes, and the Patrol Run Kyoto Yamashiro Group.

The activity began with Nozomi Acupuncture and Osteopathic Clinic and the Iseta Fighters cleaning the area around Iseta Elementary School. Following this, our baseball club members took over the baton and split into two groups to clean from Iseta Elementary School to Ōkubo Station. As expected of the Ritsumeikan Uji Junior High School Baseball Club, the students eagerly and joyfully picked up trash throughout the area.

Although there was noticeably less litter compared to previous years, and some students felt slightly unsatisfied, they also realized with joy that the community they are a part of is becoming cleaner each year thanks to their continued efforts.
