From December 26 to 28, the Junior High Girls' Tennis Club of our school participated in the National Private Junior High School Tennis Championships held at the Kobe Sports Park Tennis Courts, entering through the “Dream Slot.”

On the first day of the tournament, matches were played under harsh conditions with occasional hail. In the opening round, our team faced Hokusei Gakuen Girls’ Junior High School and secured a brilliant 2–1 victory. This marked our first win in a national team match since the departure of our SA tennis players—a significant achievement.

In the second round, we narrowly lost 1–2 to Tokai University Sagami Junior High School. However, in the consolation matches held on the second day, our team earned another win, gaining valuable experience unique to national-level competition.

On the third day, Ms. Tatehana and Ms. Suetsugu competed in the individual tournament. While both were eliminated in the first round, Ms. Tatehana secured a win in the consolation round, demonstrating strong perseverance until the end.

This tournament marked the final event of the season for the Girls’ Tennis Club. With the experience gained on the national stage, the team will aim for further growth in the upcoming season. Thank you for your continued support.
