At the Milestone of Turning 20, Returning to Their Alma Mater — Alumni Gather at Ritsumeikan Uji
Graduates who completed their studies at our school in the 2023 academic year gathered at their alma mater, Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High School, to celebrate the important milestone of turning 20 at a “Coming-of-Age Celebration.”
On the day of the event, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed as the graduates reunited with former classmates and teachers for the first time in a while. While reminiscing about their high school days, they also had the opportunity to reflect on their growth over the two years since graduation. Many of the alumni are currently pursuing new academic challenges at Ritsumeikan University and other institutions, and their expressions conveyed a clear sense of maturity, confidence, and responsibility as young adults.
Teachers shared fond memories from the graduates’ school days and offered heartfelt congratulations on reaching the age of 20, along with warm messages expressing their hopes for the graduates’ continued success in the future. It was a meaningful occasion that reaffirmed how the time spent at this school continues to support and encourage each graduate even today.
Our school will continue to cherish the paths taken by each alumnus and offer ongoing support and encouragement. To all the graduates who joined us, thank you very much. Once again, we extend our heartfelt congratulations on this important milestone of turning 20.
