[Junior High Badminton] Prize Winners at the Uji City Junior High Open Tournament
On Saturday, January 31, 2026, the 19th Uji City Junior High Individual Open Badminton Doubles Tournament was held, and students from our school participated and achieved excellent results.
In the Girls’ 1st-Year Beginner Doubles Division:
Yua Imaoka and Harune Fujisaka finished as runners-up,
and Ryoha Kawai and Rena Ishihara placed 3rd.
In the Boys’ Doubles Division:
Arata Fujimoto (Grade 2, Class 6) competed in a pair with a student from Higashi Uji Junior High School and earned an impressive championship victory.
Through ongoing club activities, we hope each student will continue to develop not only their technical skills, but also the courage to take on challenges and the ability to work together with teammates. We sincerely appreciate your continued warm support.
