[IB Course] Students Participate in Yale Model United Nations in Taiwan — Award Winners Recognized
From March 13th to 15th, students from our school's IB course participated in the 12th Yale Model United Nations, held in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference brought together approximately 350 students, mainly from across the Asia-Pacific region, to engage in active discussions on global issues such as international human rights and the role of AI in education.
The participating students from our school actively contributed to discussions within their respective committees, demonstrating a global perspective and advanced critical thinking skills. Among them, the following three students achieved outstanding results and were recognized with awards:
- Shiori Matsuo: Honorable Delegate Award (Council on Health Research for Development)
- Misora Yamazaki: Best Position Paper Award (Committee on the Peaceful Use of Outer Space)
- Mone Kamada: Best Position Paper Award (United Nations Security Council)
Through discussions and exchanges with participants from diverse backgrounds, the students deepened their understanding of global issues and strengthened their ability to express their own ideas. Our school will continue to value such international learning opportunities and support the growth of our students.
