On April 1, 2026, the new student dormitory of Ritsumeikan Uji High School, “Ritsumeikan Uji Dormitory” (nickname: RUD), officially opened.
RUD has been developed under the theme of a “Living Learning Community,” not merely as a facility for daily life but as a “hub for learning and growth” that embodies the educational philosophy of our school. Through communal living, students are provided with an environment where they can encounter diverse values, learn from one another, and grow together.
Another major feature of RUD is its location on campus, ensuring a safe and comfortable commuting environment. By reducing the burden of travel time, students are able to focus more fully on academics, club activities, and other aspects of school life.
With the opening of this dormitory, our school aims to further enhance its capacity to welcome students from both Japan and abroad, while continuing to develop an educational environment that supports students’ independent learning and growth.
