Two Judo Club Members Win Awards at the All Japan High School Judo Championship!
On Friday, March 27, 2026, three students from our school competed as representatives of Kyoto Prefecture in the “48th All Japan High School Judo Championship – Individual Competition,” held at the Nippon Budokan.
The competition results are as follows:
- ・-48kg Category: Nonoka Kishimoto (eliminated in the second round)
- ・-52kg Category: Chinatsu Ooyabu (3rd Place)
- ・-57kg Category: Yui Hasegawa (5th Place)
In this highly competitive national tournament, where top athletes from across the country gathered, our students demonstrated the results of their dedicated training and fought with great perseverance. As a result, Ooyabu secured 3rd place, and Hasegawa earned 5th place.

The athletes have already resumed training the day after the tournament, continuing to work toward their goal of becoming the best in Japan. We kindly ask for your continued support of our Judo Club.
