[Women’s Lacrosse Team] Dominant Victory in the Opening Match of the Spring Tournament!

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the 21st Kansai Junior and Senior High School Girls’ Lacrosse Spring Tournament (Preliminary League, Day 1) was held, and our school’s girls’ lacrosse team faced Takigawa Junior and Senior High School.

Our team set a goal of “25 goals scored and 0 goals allowed,” and played every moment with maximum effort, never letting their concentration slip until the end. For the third-year high school students, this match was also the opening game of their final tournament, and the entire team shared the mindset of “cherishing every single possession” as they took on the game.

From the early stages of the game, our team took control on both offense and defense and dominated throughout. The final score was 33–0, far exceeding the original goal, securing an impressive victory and an excellent start to the tournament.

Looking ahead to the next match, Captain Rinka Terashima commented with determination, saying, “We will continue to stay focused in our daily practices and further strengthen our fundamentals, such as communication and persistence in chasing loose balls.”

With heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supports us on a daily basis, the girls’ lacrosse team will continue to give their all and take on new challenges so that we can remain a team that is supported and cheered on by many.

The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29 (national holiday), starting at 9:30 a.m., against Josho Gakuen High School at our school’s First Ground. We sincerely invite you to come to the venue and lend us your warm support.
