On May 23 and 24, the 80th National Sports Festival (Boys’ Division) Kyoto Representative Selection Tournament was held at the Joyo Country Club West Course. Our SA (Scholar Athlete & Artist) student, Yusei Tanaka, claimed an impressive victory.

With this result, Tanaka has been chosen as one of the three athletes representing Kyoto Prefecture.

He will go on to compete as a Kyoto representative in the Kinki Block Tournament, scheduled for June 17 and 18 at Omi Country Club. The top three teams among the five prefectures in the Kinki region will earn a spot in the 80th National Sports Festival, to be held in Aomori Prefecture this September.
