On Thursday, June 4, 2026, admissions representatives from overseas and domestic universities visited our school to observe IB classes and conduct information sessions for students. This event was made possible after representatives from overseas universities visiting Japan for the IB University Fair to be held on Saturday, June 6, expressed their interest in seeing Japanese school education and IB learning in practice.

The following eight universities participated in the visit:

At the beginning of the program, students introduced the distinctive features of Ritsumeikan Uji High School and the learning experiences offered in the IB Course. The university representatives then observed classes such as Biology, Physics, and History, where they were able to see students actively engaging in inquiry-based learning.

Following the class observations, booth-style information sessions were held by each university. Students visited the booths of universities they were interested in and enthusiastically asked questions about academic programs, admission requirements, campus life, and career paths after graduation.

This was a valuable opportunity for students to interact directly with university representatives from around the world, providing them with meaningful insight and a broader perspective on their future academic and career choices. Our school will continue to actively provide opportunities that support global learning and career development.
