【Career Navi I】Alumni Speak to Current Students About University Learning and Life Beyond Graduation
We held Career Navi I.
On the day of the event, alumni of our school returned as student speakers and introduced the academic programs they are currently enrolled in, as well as their university experiences. It was a valuable opportunity to witness their remarkable growth, as these alumni—who only a few years ago were discussing their own future paths with teachers at our school—now stood before younger students and shared their personal experiences.
The alumni also expressed sentiments such as, “I am happy to be able to give back to my alma mater in this way,” and “I hope as many younger students as possible will learn about the appeal of my faculty.” Their warm support and encouragement for their juniors were evident throughout the event.
In addition, a lecture was delivered by alumni who are now active professionals in various fields. Students were able to learn not only about university studies but also about career development and working in society, making it a valuable opportunity to think more concretely about their own futures.
Following the presentations, an active question-and-answer session took place. Students asked questions that they might find difficult to discuss with teachers, including the realities of university life and concerns about career choices. The approachable nature of the alumni encouraged open and meaningful conversations.
Career Navi I provided students with a meaningful opportunity to deepen their understanding of university studies and future career paths while reflecting on their own aspirations. Our school will continue to support each student's career development by making the most of our strong connections with alumni.
