On June 6 (Saturday) and 7 (Sunday), 2026, members of our Student Council participated in the “2026 Come, See, and Discover! Private School Fair KYOTO” held at Miyakomesse and took the stage in the School Promotion Presentation program.

Representing our school, Ms. Nakamura, a Grade 12 student in the IB Course, and Ms. Komai, a Grade 12 student in the IM Course, introduced the unique appeal of Ritsumeikan Uji to a large audience of visitors. With a school introduction video produced by the High School Student Council playing in the background, they presented the distinctive features of the IB, IM, and IG courses, as well as various aspects of school life, including Sports Day, the Kofu Festival, club activities, overseas study tours, and the WOW Program for junior high school students. Their firsthand accounts of student life attracted considerable interest from attendees.

After the presentation, Ms. Nakamura and Ms. Komai shared that they had been inspired by the presentations given by students from other schools as well. They expressed their enthusiasm for the future, saying, “We would like to pass on this experience to our younger schoolmates and create an even more engaging presentation next year.”

Despite the unfavorable weather, many visitors attended the event. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who came to support us.

In addition, our school will hold its Open Campus on June 20 (Saturday). This will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the unique attractions of Ritsumeikan Uji, and we warmly invite you to visit our campus.
