[Junior High Track and Field Club] Overall Girls’ Championship Victory! Outstanding Performance at the Uji City Summer Tournament
The 42nd Uji City Junior High School Summer Comprehensive Athletics Meet (Track and Field Division) was held, and our school’s track and field club achieved outstanding results, taking overall victory in the girls’ category and 2nd place overall in the combined boys’ and girls’ standings.
In individual events, five athletes won first place.

- ・400m: Riku Hirai
- ・Long Jump: Yuto Nakaoka
- ・Triple Jump: Takahiro Komada
- ・Girls’ 2nd Year 100m: Ayuka Murakami
- ・Girls’ 800m: Kotono Yamaguchi
In addition, including athletes who performed strongly in various events, a total of 25 students placed within the top five and earned qualification to compete in the Yamashiro Tournament to be held on June 20.
In this competition, the athletes fully demonstrated the results of their daily training, with many achieving personal bests and high placements. The event also showcased teammates encouraging one another, making it a competition where we could truly feel the team’s growth.
The next stage is the Yamashiro Tournament. We appreciate your continued warm support for our track and field club as they strive for further record improvements and advancement to higher-level competitions.
