[High School Baton Twirling Club] Wins Grand Prix for the Fifth Consecutive Year, Advances to the National Cultural Festival
On Saturday, June 20, at the "51st Kyoto Prefectural High School Baton Twirling Contest" held at the Yamashiro Comprehensive Sports Park Gymnasium, our school's high school baton twirling club won the Gold Prize "Grand Prix."
This year, they performed a piece themed around the world-renowned painter Vincent van Gogh, and were highly praised for their rich expressiveness and high level of performance completeness. With this achievement, our school has accomplished the remarkable feat of winning the Grand Prix for the fifth consecutive year.
Furthermore, based on the results of this tournament, it has been decided that our school will be recommended as a participating school for the "51th National High School Comprehensive Cultural Festival" to be held in Ishikawa Prefecture next year.
The club members practiced diligently every day to express the worldview of the piece, putting their hearts into each and every movement as they built their performance. On the day of the event, we received warm cheers from many of you, and that support provided a great source of strength. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.
Encouraged by this award, we will continue to strive for even greater heights, not only by improving our technical skills but also by pursuing expressions that touch the hearts of the audience.
We look forward to your continued warm support and encouragement for the high school baton twirling club.
