[Junior High School Cultural Committee] An Evolving Display: The Rainy Season Garland Gets a Tanabata Makeover!
The Junior High School Cultural Committee has been "evolving" its campus displays to reflect the changing seasons.
In June, first- and second-year committee members created a Rainy Season Garland to brighten the gloomy weather and lift everyone's spirits during the rainy season. Using shimmering paper to resemble raindrops, they decorated the windows on the second floor of Building A.
In July, the display evolved into a Tanabata-themed decoration with the addition of ornaments handmade by the third-year committee members. At the center of the garland, they placed bamboo branches displaying the third-year students' wishes, creating a magical scene in which the sparkling garland resembles the Milky Way.
In addition, a large bamboo branch was displayed in the lounge outside the staff room, where wish strips written by first- and second-year students were hung. High school students and faculty members who stopped by also added their own wishes, allowing the entire school community to enjoy the festive spirit of Tanabata together.
Due to the positive response, the Rainy Season and Tanabata display has been extended and will remain on display until the first-term closing ceremony. If you have the opportunity to visit our school, we invite you to take a look at the Junior High School Cultural Committee's ever-evolving seasonal display.
