108th National High School Baseball Championship Kyoto Tournament

The semifinal of the 108th National High School Baseball Championship Kyoto Tournament was held on Saturday, July 25, at WAKASA Stadium Kyoto.
Ritsumeikan Uji took an early 1–0 lead in the top of the first inning with an RBI single to right field by cleanup hitter Masuzawa. Kyoto Shoei responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. In the top of the third, No. 5 batter Azuma delivered an RBI single to center field to tie the game at 2–2.
With the score still tied in the sixth inning, leadoff batter Iida hit a go-ahead RBI single to center field, giving Ritsumeikan Uji a 3–2 advantage.
In the top of the eighth, No. 3 batter Ehara added another run with a sacrifice fly, allowing Miyakawa to score from third base.
In the top of the ninth, during Kojima's at-bat, Miyamoto scored from third on a wild pitch, and Kojima followed with an RBI ground ball to shortstop, adding two more insurance runs.
In the bottom of the ninth, the pitching staff retired the side in order to secure a 6–2 victory and send Ritsumeikan Uji to the championship game.
