From Sunday, July 26 to Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the High School Baton Twirling Club proudly received both the Good Parade Award and the Special Award of the Executive Committee at the 50th National High School Cultural Festival (Akita Sobunsai 2026), held in Akita Prefecture.

At the opening ceremony on July 26, a spectacular parade featuring high school students from across Japan was held. Following last year's participation, the club performed alongside the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies Nishi High School Wind Ensemble. Their synchronized and polished performance was highly praised, earning them the Good Parade Award.

On July 28, the team also gave a performance at the Akita Prefectural Budokan. Their expressive routine, which vividly conveyed the theme and atmosphere of their piece, was met with warm applause from the audience and was recognized with the Special Award of the Executive Committee.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who traveled a long distance to support us at the festival, as well as to all those who continually encourage and support our Baton Twirling Club throughout the year.
