On Saturday, August 1, the Baseball Club took part in an official Koshien practice session at Hanshin Koshien Stadium. Standing on the field they had long dreamed of playing on, the players carefully familiarized themselves with the feel of the ground and the atmosphere of the stadium while going through each movement with focus and precision.

Later that day, beginning at 5:00 p.m., the tournament draw was held online. The team gathered in the school's main hall to watch the draw together. With all of his teammates looking on, captain Masato Ehara selected draw number 31. As a result, Ritsumeikan Uji's opening game has been scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, when the team will face Ariake High School, the representative from Kumamoto Prefecture, at Hanshin Koshien Stadium.
