Yusuke Nai, a third-year student and member of our senior high school boys' tennis team, has earned a place in the UNIQLO All Japan Junior Tennis Championships 2026 (Boys' Under-18 Singles).

Nai competed in the Boys' Under-18 division of the 2026 All Japan Junior Kansai Qualifying Tournament, held in Osaka City in July. He advanced to the Round of 16 by winning both his first- and second-round singles matches in straight sets. As a result, he secured a place in the national championships through a recommendation from the Kansai region. In addition, he also teamed up with fellow third-year student Riku Kamoda from our school's tennis team in the doubles event, where the pair also advanced to the Round of 16.

The UNIQLO All Japan Junior Tennis Championships 2026 will be held from Sunday, August 30, to Saturday, September 5, at the Ariake Tennis Forest Park Tennis Courts in Tokyo. Recognized as Japan's premier junior tennis tournament, the event brings together the nation's top junior players who have advanced through regional qualifying competitions, with exciting matches taking place every year.
