The first-round game of the 108th National High School Baseball Championship against Ariake High School (Kumamoto Prefecture) was held on Friday, August 7, at Hanshin Koshien Stadium.
We maintained the lead until the closing stages of the game, but allowed our opponents to take the lead in the final inning. Unable to mount another comeback, we were eliminated in the first round.
