On Wednesday, September 9, three students from our high school appeared on "Oshaberi Lunchtime!" (Chatty Lunchtime!), a segment featuring Kyoto private junior and senior high schools on KBS Kyoto Radio's "Tonari no Moritani-san".

The three students who appeared on the program were members of the Student Council, representing the first through third years of high school. On the day of the broadcast, a KBS Kyoto radio car visited our school, and with the reporter leading the program, the students shared their experiences of school life.

During the program, the students spoke about a wide range of topics, including what makes Ritsumeikan Uji unique, as well as "Global Education," "Inquiry-Based Learning," and "Extracurricular Activities," the three pillars of our school's educational approach. They shared their experiences of studying abroad through the IM Course, learning in the IG Course, participating in Student Council and club activities, and living in the school dormitory. From the perspectives of both students who have attended Ritsumeikan Uji since junior high school and those who joined the school in high school, they highlighted the appeal of Ritsumeikan Uji: the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds and take on a wide variety of challenges according to their own interests and passions.

Although there was some nervousness that comes with a live broadcast, all three students spoke in their own words about their everyday school life and what makes studying at Ritsumeikan Uji so rewarding, drawing on their own personal experiences.
