On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the "43rd Kyoto Prefecture Senior High School Cultural Festival Baton Twirling Division" and the "34th Kyoto Prefecture Baton Twirling Championships" were held at the Yamashiro General Sports Park Gymnasium, with both our junior high and senior high school baton twirling teams taking part.

For the junior high school team, this was their first-ever team performance. Their theme was "Medusa." Accompanied by dramatic, suspenseful music, the team brought the world of Medusa to life through a powerful performance that captivated the audience.

The senior high school team performed under the theme "Van Gogh: Thoughts Entrusted to the Sunflowers, Beyond the Starry Night," presenting a story-driven routine tracing the life of Vincent van Gogh. Expressing the events and emotional changes of Van Gogh's life through each movement, the team delivered a flawless performance that earned high praise.

As a result, both the junior high and senior high school teams won Gold Awards and secured places at the Kansai Championships.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many parents and alumnae who came to the venue and gave the teams their warm support.

As we prepare for the Kansai Championships, both teams will continue working hard to further enhance the appeal of their respective performances and deliver even stronger routines. We sincerely appreciate your continued support for our school's Baton Twirling Club.
