On Saturday, September 12, 2026, our Junior High School Track and Field Club competed in the “42nd Uji City Junior High School Autumn Track and Field Meet.” This was the first competition for the new team, consisting of first- and second-year students. Although the athletes entered the meet with some nervousness, they delivered outstanding performances, winning the girls’ overall championship and finishing third overall in the combined boys’ and girls’ standings.

In addition, 13 athletes placed in the top three in their respective individual events, giving the new team an excellent start.
