On September 20 (Sun.) and 21 (Mon., national holiday), the Kyoto Prefectural Qualifying Tournament for the National High School Invitational Tennis Championships – Team Competition was held at Tamba Nature Sports Park, where our high school girls' tennis team finished 7th in Kyoto Prefecture.

The tournament was played under challenging conditions, with strong winds and occasional rain. Despite these difficulties, the team continued to play tense matches, including come-from-behind victories after difficult situations and closely contested matches that could have gone either way until the very end.

Every member of the team contributed to this 7th-place finish in Kyoto Prefecture, including not only the players on the court, but also the members who continued to cheer from the bench and the coaches who supported the players. The team also showed that it could compete on equal terms with some of the top teams in Kyoto Prefecture, making this a tournament in which we could clearly see the results of the team's hard work and its growth as a unit.

We will carry the confidence and the lessons we gained from this tournament into the next competition and continue working hard to achieve an even higher finish. We sincerely appreciate your continued warm support for our high school girls' tennis team.
