High School Senior Literature Exploration "Food Design" BKC Visit! Learn about the food culture of Naples
High School-University Cooperative Class by Professor Masayoshi Ishida of the School of Food Management, Ritsumeikan University
The students visited BKC and received a lecture on Neapolitan food culture from Professor Ishida of the Department of Food Management, covering a wide range of topics from food culture to history.
We also had the opportunity to experience "true Neapolitan pizza" in a pizza oven brought from Italy with the help and cooperation of the students of the Faculty of Food Management. They prepared the dough from the day before and made sure that almost everyone was able to experience it. The students were very satisfied with the detailed instructions on everything from how to roll out the dough to toppings and how to bake it.With the help of professors and undergraduates, this was a valuable opportunity to get a good “taste" of what the School of Food Management has to offer.
