1. Outline

Each year, Ritsumeikan University's Graduate School of Economics holds a special recruitment for prospective applicants to their Master's Program in Economic Development who also seek to be awarded the Asian Development Bank - Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP). ADB-JSP is a prestigious "full-ride" scholarship (see below for award details), alumni of which are active at the highest professional level in Asia and around the world. No application fee is required when applying via these procedures. Applicants who pass this admission screening are granted a Letter of Acceptance from the Graduate School of Economics, after which the Graduate School of Economics also recommends them to the ADB for scholarship. Those then chosen by the ADB for scholarship are flown to Japan to commence their scholarship-sponsored studies. These admissions are for September 2024 enrollment.
