Ritsumeikan University has four campuses in the Kansai region. English-medium undergraduate degree programs are offered at two of these campuses. The Global Studies Major (GS) and the American University-Ritsumeikan University Joint Degree Program (JDP) are based at the Kinugasa Campus in northwest Kyoto City. The College of Global Liberal Arts (GLA), the Community and Regional Policy Studies Major (CRPS) and the Information Systems Science and Engineering Course (ISSE) are based at the Osaka Ibaraki Campus which opened in 2015 in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture. The two cities are easily accessible from each other. It only takes 20 to 30 minutes by public transportation from Kyoto to Ibaraki (Osaka).

Kinugasa Campus (Kyoto)

Located in the northwest of Kyoto City, the Kinugasa Campus is surrounded by such auspicious temples as Kinkakuji, Ryoanji, Ninnaji and Tojiin. There are a total of 13 World Heritage Sites within 10 KM of the campus. There are good transport connections to the campus, meaning it is easy to get out and explore Kyoto. The College of International Relations is based at KIC.

Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC)

The Osaka Ibaraki Campus opened in 2015, in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture. Located midway between Osaka and Kyoto, OIC provides the ideal location for students looking to take advantage of all Japan has to offer. At OIC, students can enjoy brand new facilities and a comfortable life there. This Campus is open to the local society and community without walls or barriers, harmonious with the surrounding environment. The College of Policy Science and the College of Global Liberal Arts are based at this campus.
