General Graduation Requirements for the Degree of Global Liberal Arts

  • Students must enroll for at least 4-year and 8-semester.
  • Students must earn at least 124 credits in order to graduate, including:
    • 32-credit in Essentials of Global Liberal Arts, including four (4) 4-credit compulsory (required) courses.
    • 12-credit in Cosmopolitan Studies, including one (1) 4-credit compulsory (required) course.
    • 12-credit in Civilization Studies, including one (1) 4-credit compulsory (required) course.
    • 12-credit in Innovation Studies, including one (1) 4-credit compulsory (required) course.
    • 4-credit in Japanese Studies Cluster.
    • 12-credit in Capstone Studies.
  • Students must successfully complete the following courses with a grade of C or higher.
  • Students are recommended (in some cases, required) to consult with an academic advisor. Please make an appointment to have an advising session. Students who choose not to consult with an advisor will be fully responsible for their selection of courses. If students cannot meet with an advisor in time, they are encouraged to register as soon as they are eligible. Students can revise their course registration, if necessary, after meeting an advisor.
