How to get to Ritsumeikan University Biwako-Kusatsu Campus (BKC)
Ritsumeikan's BKC campus sits astride Japan's main transit corridor, easily accessible from
the majority of Japan's major ports and cities by car, bus, and train.
Shiga, our host prefecture, is a traditional crossroad of commerce and industry and offers a rich,
cultural atmosphere, thanks to the proximity of the traditional heart of Japan, Kyoto. The region is

home to the greatest concentration of manufacturing industry in Japan, including Panasonic, Nisshin,
Toray, Kyocera, and, perhaps most famously, Nintendo.
