My research theme deals with Biomaterials Science and Engineering. This research aims to develop and characterize Titanium based Biomaterials. These Biomaterials can be used for orthopedic and dental applications such as hip joint, knee joint, tooth pins and posts to support dental implants, etc.

I am a doctoral student dealing with the area of development of advanced structural and functional materials. My supervisor and other researchers are very well experienced and highly supportive. They always help, support, and encourage me in my research. Also, my Japanese and International friends in my laboratory always extend their generous help to me in my experimental work which makes my life easier. We have almost all sophisticated instruments in our lab to accomplish high quality research related with the processing and characterization of materials.

The Biwako-Kusatsu Campus (BKC) of Ritsumeikan University has a huge campus equipped with highly sophisticated Instruments and well experienced Faculties and staff. It also has excellent recreational facilities such as a well-equipped gymnasium, music rooms, sports facilities, and many cafeterias. However, if you love books, the BKC has an excellent Library with many thousands of precious books. The university also provides access to almost all reputed international journals.

Hence, Ritsumeikan University provides a platform to accomplish your Dreams by providing excellent facilities for the overall professional growth of its students. It not only always provides assistance in any problem you encounter in your daily life but also joins in with your happiness by celebrating different cultural festivals with the same enthusiasm as your home country. I am enjoying my life here and learning a lot of good things about Japanese people and Japanese culture.

Well established green and clean campus with all research and recreational facilities. The institution always makes proactive efforts to enhance the interaction between international students and Japanese students through various kinds of program.

One day I lost my wallet in the campus. I was very much worried as it had all my debit cards, credit cards, Insurance card, cash, residence card, and other important documents. I rushed toward my lab and tell my problem to my colleagues about my problem. They told me with confident smiles that please go to the campus security office and you will find your wallet. I reached the security office and I was surprised to see that my wallet was kept there intact with all the stuff and counted money. After ensuring that I am the real owner of the wallet, they returned it back to me with greeting "Aarigato gazaimasu". It was a great and pleasant experience for me. I respect Japanese peoples for their honesty and kind nature.
