Ritsumeikan University has offered me a challenging yet exciting environment where I have to push myself every day to overcome the difficulties. It has given me numerous opportunities to grow in both the intellectual and spiritual sense. The course work and the research work expands my knowledge while the exposure to multinational environment of Japanese and international students has allowed me to appreciate and respect each individual regardless of his or her nationality or religion. In my experience at Ritsumeikan University, I have learned how to act as a team player, communicate and work passionately to achieve goals.

Ritsumeikan is a place abundant in material and intellectual resources. The professors are well renowned in their fields, and what I love about Ritsumeikan is the friendliness and helpfulness of the professors and the staff of the university. I can talk to the professors anytime if I have an issue and the staff of the school is very helpful and understanding; they always try their best to help me. It is indeed a place where an international student can feel at home.

One of the unique things I experienced in Ritsumeikan is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. When I first came to Japan, I could not speak Japanese and had no friends from my country studying at Ritsumeikan, which made me worried. But the friendly staff of Ritsumeikan University International Office helped me with all my paperwork and guided me through apartment hunting. They helped me settle down in Japan and the process was pain free. I still very much appreciate their kindness.
