Soft matters, such as polymers, liquid crystal, colloids, gels, and proteins, have  complex structures due to their high degree of internal freedom, forming hierarchical structures. We are interested in non-equilibrium processes of soft matters, such as the crystallization process, phase transition, and glass transition, and are promoting their research using experimental methods such as X-ray scattering measurements, light scattering measurements, thermal measurements, and optical microscopy observations.
