Center Overview
In 2024, we will establish the Semiconductor Application Research Center to create new value for the next generation of the semiconductor industry and to help Japan regain its global presence.
The center will not only conduct basic research on new semiconductors, but will also expand its scope to include applied research with a view to social implementation, with the aim of bringing about innovation in society.
Members
Researchers from diverse fields, not only those related to semiconductors, but also food, bioengineering, business administration, experimental psychology, planetary geography, etc., participate in the project.
Active collaboration among different fields based on this center will enable the creation of innovative semiconductor materials beyond imagination.
