Research ethics education
To conduct research with academic integrity, graduate students must understand research ethics, including ethical codes and proper presentation of results. Ritsumeikan University emphasizes the importance of recognizing research ethics as a personal responsibility to avoid misconduct. Since AY2016, the university has implemented a comprehensive research ethics education program, building on existing efforts such as supervisor guidance, courses, and seminars.
