Research Center for Innovation Management

As the transformation of contemporary society into a knowledge society progresses further, emphasis is being placed on innovation using advanced knowledge. In that context, the former Research Center for Management Strategy was gradually reorganized and in April 2008, Research Center for Innovation Management was established to conduct research on the ideal nature of management in organizations, addressing the opening of new markets, organizational reform, and other innovation throughout management activities overall, and to return the findings to society.

In addition to promoting research on "manufacturing and innovation" with a focus on the themes of standardization strategy and innovation systems, the Center is engaged in the fields of "service management" and "marketing management" that support those efforts.
