Creating the future by going beyond boundaries and personal limits; this is Ritsumeikan's identity of "Beyond Borders." At the Ritsumeikan Trust there are countless students and faculty who are continuously challenging their limits, and going beyond their various "borders." We hope you watch this video and get a true sense of the Ritsumeikan spirit. This video features Tohru Ukon and Shunichi Sakatani from Graduate School of Science and Engineering. They participated in a recovery support project for the Great East Japan Earthquake to build a community named "odense" in Miyako City in Iwate Prefecture. "Odense" means "Welcome" in the Iwate dialect.
