Development of Exhaustive Human Resources

The Development of Exhaustive Human Resources (DXHR) is a double-degree master's program scholarship open to young Indonesian citizens, which is sponsored by Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Indonesia through the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency (LPDP). Scholars on this program complete the first year of their master's at a partner university in Indonesia, the second year at a partner university in Japan, and graduate with degrees from both institutions.

1. Basic Eligibility Requirements

For the full breakdown of criteria please see the DXHR page on the LPDP website, here, accessible via the "Targeted Scholarship" section under the "SCHOLARSHIP" tab. The following are a few of the most basic criteria.

• Meet be an Indonesian citizen
• Must be 37 years of age or below
• Must have already earned a bachelor's degree or the equivalent
• May not have already earned a master's degree

2. Scholarship Details

This is a "full-ride" scholarship covering admission and tuition fees, as well as other costs such as for research activities, seminar participation, publishing in journals, health insurance, travel to and from Japan, and so on. 3. Application

The application begins with applying to LPDP for scholarship while applying to an Indonesian partner university for enrollment into their master's program. See instructions on the aforementioned LPDP homepage for details. Once scholars have been selected and are enrolled in the first year of their master's program at a university in Indonesia, a matching phase will be conducted by JICA to secure each scholar's pre-approval for admission to one of the Japanese partner universities. It is at that time that you will be able to apply for acceptance to Ritsumeikan. If successful, you will then be allowed to formally apply for enrollment via our special LPDP-JICA DXHR Scholarship-based Admission Screening.
