Our Global Research Network
Ritsumeikan University has formulated a mid-term plan called R2030 Ritsumeikan Academy Vision, which outlines the University’s ideal shape for the 2030s.The first of the five pivotal pillars of this plan is the establishment of a next-generation research-intensive university with the Ritsumeikan Knowledge Nodes (RKN) concept at its core.In order to develop world-class research and education, the RKN aims for Ritsumeikan University to become a node of networks with various stakeholders at home and abroad, and the University is strategically promoting initiatives such as the promotion of cross-disciplinary collaborative research, the establishment of an organized international research network, and the international dissemination of research results. As an example of these initiatives, the International Collaborative Research Promotion Program is being implemented.
