Faculty Description
The College of Gastronomy Management is to examine “gastronomy” from the social sciences and humanities perspectives; it is launched as first of its kind in Japan.
At the center for education and research of gastronomy, students are to develop holistic views on gastronomic issues through the three academic pillars of food management & economics, food culture & humanities, and food science & technology. The three academic fields are offered based on the concept of economics and management.
Our aim is to rear a new generation of industry leaders who possess the practical managerial skills. It is also our goal to make students become internationally aware problem-solvers while possessing the distinctive vision in figuring out gastronomy-related issues arising not only in Japan but also in the global level.
