Today's financial world operates at a global scale as never before. This in turn has created a complex interdependency in financial transactions. In response to this environment, the Finance Institute devotes itself to a wide yet integrated scope of finance-related studies including world economy, legal systems, social policies, mathematical science, and information technology. Coupled with these studies, students are trained in practical skills from areas such as financial engineering methodologies and techniques so that they can become financial professionals capable of assuming key leadership roles in the global economy.
Environment & Design Institute
Sustainable development has been a primary concern not only for highly industrialized societies but for developing societies as well. By bringing industrial chemistry and design, environmental economics, and social engineering together, students in the Environment & Design Institute can be trained with a coherent perspective on the full transformation of industrial-ecological issues. Fieldwork has also been incorporated into the curriculum, enabling students to have firsthand experience in environmental policy issues and gain practical insight into industry. The design component of the program covers working processes in space planning, manufacturing, and organizational restructuring.
Service Management Institute
Focusing on leisure, sports and health industry, this institute addresses human concerns and service management. By specializing in areas such as kinetic physiology, sports psychology and therapy, hospitality and tourist management, and medical economics, students are able to cover a wide range of issues pertinent to the service industry. Fieldwork with an international orientation is also an essential part of learning processes in this institute.
