Achieve Your Educational Aims by Taking Specialized Courses Offered by Your College in a Carefully Planned Way
Of the general education courses, foreign language, and specialized courses that you will take at university, a majority of courses you take will be specialized (major) courses. You are required to achieve the educational aims set by your college or department. In order to achieve these aims, it is important to take the courses that suit you from among the many specialized courses offered in a carefully planned manner. The “Curriculum Tree” and “Curriculum Map” are useful for planning which courses to take.
- ・ The curriculum tree illustrates the connections between subjects and guides you in deciding which subjects to take and in what order. Check the curriculum tree of your college/department and take specialized courses in a planned manner.
- ・ The curriculum map is a table showing the relationship between courses and educational aims. Find out which of the educational aims each subject corresponds to.
