The AY2021 Ritsumeikan Welcome Festival, a series of welcome events for new students, will be held on all three campuses (Kinugasa, BKC, and OIC) in a hybrid in-person / online format. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Welcome Festival was not held last year, but this year it will be held not only for new students, but also for second-year students who could not experience the event last year and any other students thinking of joining a club or circle. Students will be able to meet and interact with representatives from approximately 400 student clubs and circles at the Welcome Festival. The Welcome Festival events, which will last for about two months, are jointly organized by the Ritsumeikan University Student Government Board and the university.
